What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address from Apple Sign In. When you log an outfit, we store the photo you upload, an optional caption, the date worn, an optional location (city name only — not precise GPS coordinates), an optional occasion type, and optional names of people you were with.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the app — displaying your outfit archive and letting you log new entries. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.
Who can see your data
Your outfits, photos, and profile are private to you. Other users cannot access your data. OOTD staff do not access your data except where required to investigate a reported security incident.
Location
If you choose to detect your location when logging an outfit, we request access to your device location to look up the nearest city name. Only the city name is stored — precise GPS coordinates are never saved. You can also type your location manually without granting location permission.
Photo storage
Photos are compressed and uploaded to secure cloud storage (Supabase). They are stored under your user ID and protected by access policies that prevent other users from reading them.
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all your outfits, photos, profile information, and authentication records are permanently deleted within 24 hours.
Your rights
You can edit or delete individual outfits at any time from within the app. You can delete your entire account and all associated data from the Profile screen. After deletion, your data cannot be recovered.
Security
Authentication is handled by Apple Sign In — we never store or see your password. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sessions are stored securely on your device.
Children
OOTD is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us.
